Porter's English Menu

Specialising in fresh homemade food, amongst their best sellers are steak, beer battered fish and chips, Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding, not to mention the puddings which include Syrup Sponge and Spotted Dick.

Porters does not set out to be a classy restaurant. Instead, in homely surroundings that smack of bistro turned brasserie, they serve food and drink that is easily recognisable as genuinely comfortable grub, relished by far more people than might be supposed if you paid too much attention to the culinary media.

Lunch: 1.30pm
Dinner 7.30pm
Exclusions:8th to 21st December, 14th February
Closures: 25th December
